Building on the success of its excellent Shogun 2, The Creative Assembly continues itsjourney through the history of Japan and gives us a pretty good stand-alone. As its titleimplies, the End of the Samurai invites players to take part in the war Boshin which opposed the imperial forces against government troops Edo shogunate in the nineteenth century. Everything is therefore in a context of major changes linked to the country opened to Western powers. Torn by his thirst for modernity and its scrupulous respect fortraditions, Japan and the time is a great way to shake a little the gameplay of the seriesto the delight of fans as neophytes.
